  • End of day, we donate any of our remaining prepared foods to Second Harvest

  • Join the movement and buy local where possible
    • Check out your local farmers’ markets, artisan cheese makers, and bakers
  • Buy organic
    • Start with the dirty dozen: celery, peaches, strawberries, apples, blueberries, nectarines, bell peppers, spinach, kale, cherries, potatoes, and grapes – if it doesn’t have a layer you can remove, then the pesticides can get inside!
    • Always use organic milk and yogurt
  • Avoid poultry and meats that are raised with hormones and antibiotics.
  • Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – we know this is an age-old motto but it works!
